HOW DO I CANCEL?

On your iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Rule Out. Deleting the app doesn't cancel.

I BOUGHT PRO BUT IT ISN'T ACTIVE

In the app: Settings › Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID.

WHAT DOES "UNEXPLAINED" MEAN?

That none of the ordinary causes the app can check (the phone moving, electrical hum, repeating cycles, vibration, air pressure, recognizable sounds, the phone itself) and none of the causes you were asked about applied. It is not a claim that anything paranormal happened.

WHY DID MY PHONE FLAG SO MANY SOUNDS?

Pets and people cause most of them. After you answer one, the review offers to apply the same answer to similar moments.

DOES IT WORK WITH THE PHONE LOCKED?

Yes: readings, sound levels and clips continue. Apple's sound recognition pauses while the phone is locked, so for overnight logs leave the dim night screen on.
