By using Rule Out you agree to these terms.
WHAT THE APP IS
Rule Out measures a room with your iPhone's sensors and checks unusual readings against ordinary causes. It is for curiosity and personal investigation. It does not detect, prove or communicate with ghosts or spirits, and an "Unexplained" verdict means only that none of the ordinary causes it can check applied.
NOT A SAFETY OR MEDICAL DEVICE
The readings are not calibrated measurements. Do not rely on the app for electrical safety, health, carbon monoxide, gas, structural or medical questions. If you are worried about your safety or health, contact a qualified professional.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
Rule Out Pro is available as a yearly subscription (with a free trial where offered), a monthly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase, billed by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
YOUR CONTENT
What you record is yours. If you share Evidence Cards or Clips, you are responsible for what you share and for others' privacy in anything you record.
NO WARRANTY; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the previous 12 months.
CHANGES
We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page. Apple's Standard EULA also applies.
